Angel Montalvo Garcia, 83, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, February 3, 2022 at the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. He was the husband of Isabel M. (Rivera) Montalvo, to whom he was married for 61 years.

Born in Peñuelas, Puerto Rico on June 9, 1938, Angel was a son of the late Leoncio and Mercedes (Garcia) Montalvo. He served in the United States Army and worked as a police officer in Puerto Rico and then as an electrician for the State of New York. Angel was a member of the NRA and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed traveling around the world, participating in family times and games, he loved music as well as dancing, reading a good book, and reminiscing of the Good old Days.

In addition to his wife, Angel is survived by three children, Mildred Montalvo (Rodriguez), Grisel Montalvo (Drouet), and Jose Angel Montalvo; seven grandchildren, Stephanie, Michael, Jonathan, Tatiana, Ileen, Gabriel, and Angela; four great grandchildren, Tristan, Abella, Maddox, and Victoria; two brothers, Gilbert and Rene Corti; two sisters, Socorro Corti (Rodriguez) and Nilda Montalvo (Quiñones); and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Thursday, February 10th at St. Paul The Apostle Church, 125 S. Spruce St., Annville, PA 17003. Full military honors will follow at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to Mass from 10-11:30 am at the church.
