Allen (Al) J. Powell Sr., 62, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at his residence.  He was the husband of Kim M. (Stoudt) Powell for 43 years.

Born in Lebanon, on April 3, 1959, he was a son of Phyllis M. (Leiss) Powell and the late Frederick S. Powell.

Allen was an employee of the former Lebanon Pattern Shop for 41 years and also had worked for Blatt's Pattern Shop.  He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, camping, dirt track racing and NASCAR racing.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are two children, Allen J. Powell II, husband of Jen Powell and Mandy L. wife of Todd Allen; three grandchildren, Kiersten L. Powell, Jacob T. Powell, Allison J. Allen; two brothers, Keith F. Powell and Paul W. Powell and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. 126 S. 9th St. Lebanon, 17042.  A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1-2.  Interment will be on Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Central PA Blood Bank 8167 Adams Dr. Hummelstown, PA 17036 or the Spina Bifida Assoc. 1600 Wilson Blvd. , Ste 800, Arlinton, VA 22209.  You may share your thoughts and memories with the family at our online guest book at thompsonfuneralhomelebanon.com
