Josephine Frances (Olsavsky) Novak
Josephine Frances (Olsavsky) Novak, formerly of 54 South 19th Street, Lebanon, PA. passed away at the Stone Ridge Poplar Run Health Care Center, Myerstown, on Sunday, July 25, 2010. She was born on March 6, 1916 in Steelton, PA. to the late Michael and Suzanna (Stelma) Olsavsky.
Josephine was of the Catholic faith. She was a member of St. Benedict Abbot Parish (formally St. Cyril Methodius) in Lebanon.
Surviving is a daughter, Dolores, wife of Darrell Weston, of Beverly Hills, Florida; a son, William, husband of Lynnette Novak of Myerstown, eight grandchildren, Alexandria, Andrea, Brian, Chris, Michael, Paula, Sophia and Vicki; fourteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Novak (retired employee of Bethlehem Steel Co., Lebanon), a daughter, Nadine Pressel, a son, John Novak, three brothers, Anthony, Joseph, & Stephen; and three sisters, Catherine, Mary & Sophia.
Graveside service 11:00 on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family requests any floral donations be sent to the Stone Ridge Poplar Run Health Care Center, 440 E. Lincoln Ave., Myerstown, PA 17067. Thompson Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements.
