Catharine T. Hartman

Catharine T. Hartman, 96, of Lebanon, PA, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at Cedar Haven Nursing Home.

She was the wife of the late Joseph H. Hartman.

Catharine was born in Lebanon, PA on March 21, 1914. She was a daughter of the late Stephen B. & Christina M. (Allwein) Gress.

She was a retired flower designer from Royer's Flower Shop.

She was a member of St. Mary's Church. She enjoyed bowling, reading, sewing and crocheting.

She is survived by six children, Mary Ann, wife of William Fields, Joseph T. Hartman, Patricia M., wife of Joseph Noll, Lawrence A. Hartman, Thomas P., husband of Linda Hartman, and Kathleen D., wife of Ellwood Smith, all of Lebanon; eighteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Gingrich and a sister, Christine Siegrist.

Funeral Mass Friday July 23, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th Street, Lebanon. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 9-10:00 AM at the church. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3544 N. Progress Ave., Suite 205, Harrisburg, PA 17110. Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. in charge of arrangements.
